Our History as written,
binds us to self;
like quilt squares, alone
sit on a shelf.
Yet thread them together,
and something magical happens;
for one leads to another
and without sew would be broken.
Our Seamstress with care
gives life to disorder,
providing chaos an image;
pattern now moves us forward.
What do we do
with what is now bound?
Provide warmth and poetry
to those that heed found.
For pieces that once
through one were once strew,
the beauty that all
sewn together forms you!
So embrace all your pieces
by His golden string.
For without one or the other
your soul would not sing.
