Diary Entry 97

There is a freedom in death

we will never possess in life,

to forgive and forget

all of past's strife.

There is a relief in death

we will never taste in life,

to be comforted and consoled

from pain's sharp knife.

There is a joy in death

we will not recognize in life,

to be eternally reunited

with yearning daughters and wives.

There is sorrow in life

reconciled in one's death;

when you grieve their loss

they've encountered renewal's breath.
